Our salvaged wood furniture is made primarily from deconstruction teak salvaged from disused bridges and buildings in Java. It is a rapidly diminishing resource and the price of recycled teak is increasing every year. Some of the teak is hundreds of years old and it is one of the most durable woods for exterior use. It is also salt resistant so will last in a coastal location and weathers to a silver grey.
